DIC control buttons lights out

Searched everywhere but couldnt find any posts. The top four lights dont come on when I turn on running lights or head lights. Question is can I repair this without pulling the gauge cluster i.e. just pull out the rubber switch membrane and plug in new lights? Or does this require a little more work...like pull gauge cluster, get out soldering iron and go to work? I know you guru's have the answer.

Thanks. I had a feeling it was not going to be a quick fix. Another winter project just got added to the list.

after a dozen cluster removals, you'll have them out in 10 minutes

I had some of the DIC lights out when I was messing with the front grounds. Cleaned and fixed the grounds under the hood behind the headlights and the DIC lights worked again.
