I had to unplug the little silver computer in the back rear storage compartment, as well as unplug the relay boxes in the doors. I reconnected them, and turned the car on, and got a myriad of messages:
REDUCED POWER
SHOCKS INOPERABLE
LOW TIRE PRESSURE
LOW FUEL
These cars act really really weird when the battery is low or if the battery is bad. A battery can even check good and still be bad. As stated above, make sure it is FULLY charged. Other than that, go get yourself another battery and try it. If it doesn't work, you can always bring the battery right back.

excellent point. Also as mentioned once you have a fully charged batt. disconnect it for about 10 minutes. PCM will reset and then try to delete all the codes.
Good luck...
fwiw in my 01, the tire pressures are no good unless I drive it halfway round the block so u probably should discount that one
take the battery out of your other car or use jumper cables...less driving around
you probably got those messages because only part of the things that report to the ecm lost power. disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it again might do the trick
sometimes capacitors are used to keep circuits alive, and connecting and disconnecting circuits sometimes bleeds them off
