i just bought a set of electronic cut outs and i want to install them on my 97 coupe. i have an auto trans. and i have seen them mounted just after the axel. however i have an abs system back there in the way. i got the whole exhaust set with them already installed and was just going to change them out. the set came off an earlier year c5, and chevrolet had by then moved the abs system up front. does anybody have cut outs installed in a situation like this? thanks

 

Send a PM to forum member Patches and ask him about his electric cutouts. I'd bet he can give you all the info you need to install yours.

Hey! I was just kidding.... you'll get them shoe horned in there. Even if you have to do it right before the axle.

 

I would just take it to a good exhaust shop and tell them to get it done. If they are good and it can be done your problem is solved, or did you want to do this yourself?

 

want to do it myself. ive got a new lift and all the equip. i need to do it. now i just need some room under there
