CE light again?

CE light again?
About 3 weeks ago I had my 2004 , 33k miles , in for a new heater core and gas tank fixed under warranty. About a week later the CE light came on and I took it back to them . I watched them drive it to the back and put a hand held computer to it then take it to a bay and pop the hood.It took the guy about 10 minutes or so and they are done.The guy told me that it was a code for the Catalytic converter because of my headers and breather and all they could do was clear the codes,this I don't believe .Why would they need to pop the hood to clear the codes? I now have the CE back again, have not checked the codes but I think they screwed something up , I know they took the intake off when the did the work.Any suggestions on it would be nice , I will try to get the codes ASAP.

You will throw that code with headers, you can go so a shop and they can program the computer so you don’t get the CE light, they will “delete” the rear O2 sensors. Also it could happen with an exhaust leak, so check that as well.
