Default 100,000 mile info please

I'm at 91k. Are there any things I need to be aware of at the 100,000 mark. Typical problems, or suggestions on how to keep the car running beautifully for another 100k? Thanks my friends and hope the new year is still going well!!

Basically over all maintenance of the car when it was young is what helps out here in the long run. Just have your normal maintenace looked over and performed for that mileage.

Myself, I would check over the car and go over nuts bolts etc, all fluids, belts, hoses, lube what is necessary and drive it for another 100K.

Default A, B, and C Service

My dealership recommends a C Service at 90K. The cost of this service is $550. They do a lot of checking and inspecting for $550. The large majority of this work can be DIY. He is the C Service list:

Change Oil & Filter Lubricate chassis
Inspect exhaust system Inspect all fluid levels
Inspect brake system Inspect & adjust drive belts
Check electrical system Inspect cooling system
Inspect & service battery Inspect tire system
Balance tires Replace air filter
Inspect & adjust clutch Inspect fuel vapor storage sys
Tighten nuts/bolts on chassis Replace PCV valve and filter
Replace fuel filter Change Coolant
Change transmission fluid Flush brake system
Replace spark plugs

I just got the 160k service notice, they want to rotate my tires.

Main thing to check is the battery for leaks.

time for a good checkup. Change the air filter- or clean the K&N, clean the throttle body, new plugs and wires, fuel filter, all the fluids- radiator, oil, steering, trans and diff. Check the hoses and belts- maybe time for new ones. Check the suspension and lube it. How's the tires and alignment? Don't forget to wash n wax - cause its your baby!
