Default 30K scheduled maintenance?

So my 2004 is at the dealer, and they are fixing some items and billing GM even though the warranty is expired. I've got 32K miles on the car and my service guy wants to see if I would like to replace all the filters, as well as get a 'fuel injection flush' for the 30K maintenance. Naturally I don't have my owners manual here since it's with the car and I can't remember if it said anything about a 30k maintenance. I have been unable to find anything on the web for a schedule. Does anybody have one handy and can throw some advise this way?

This guy has really taken good care of me in the past so i'm not as suspicious as normal when he suggests something.

Thanks.

I don't have my manual in front of me, but I'm 99.9% sure that "fuel injection flush" is nowhere in the recommended maintenance. I recall reading an article in one of the Corvette magazines a while back regarding fuel injectors and this service offered by many auto service places. There conclusion was that it is not necessary. Maybe someone else can chime in with more information about this.

You can download an owners manual at Fred Beans.

A fuel injector flush is not included in the maintenance schedule.

If your car is running fine, don't worry about the fuel injector cleaning. Doesn't call for it at 30K that I know of.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I talked w/ him this morning and he agreed that none of those options are required. He must have been looking at the standard Chevrolet maintenance suggestions. They are taking care of the 'dreaded' EBCM issue for me, and billing all to GM.

Maintenance items are recommended based on what part of the country you live in and how you drive your car. GM maintenance schedules are kind of a general rule of thumb if you lived in a 60 deg climate year round. At the GM dealership I work at in MO fuel services are recommended every 15k. Would you really want your Dexcool in your engine for 100k miles? Hope this helps.

Haven't made it to 100K miles on my DexCool yet but it has gone 5 years in several of my cars with no problems. My wife's Saturn is 3 years into its second 5 years of DexCool.
