Default Race shops in MD area

Hey guys. I'm looking for a race shop in the MD area that I can take my 01 Z to get some work done but not that familiar with the area so any help would be appreciated. If none in the area guess it's off to Raleigh I go

I have never used him, but always heard great things about Tony's in Gathersburg. Curry's in Sterling has a great rep also.

I normally do all of my own work, but after some research from other forum members I went with Performance Solution for a new clutch. The number is 410-766-0554 the owner is Steve Young. The guy knows what he is doing.

Maryland Performance Center does great work, George is the owner.
Address: 8029 Cessna Ave # C, Gaithersburg, MD 20879
Phone: (301) 258-8883

He installed my LPE mini tub kit, and he works on many vettes & other high performance & race cars. He is not cheap, though. He has a dyno & does tuning. He does extensive work, modifications, tuning, engine building for the Black Attack vette, see http://www.blackattackracing.com

Tony's in Gaithersburg, MD is good, not cheap, but reasonable value product/dollar.
Got my headers and exhaust done there.

Cooper Corevettes in Dumfries, VA (near quantico marine base) is really good. Shop rate has climbed, but still an even better product:dollar value.
Had my clutch and diff done here on seperate occasions, also some regular maintenance work. Tom McGrath is the man.

If you are looking to get anything beyond simple bolt-ons I would contact Phil Thomas at Pro Street Motorsports in Southern MD (just across the 301 bridge). PM or Email him from this site, his handle is Phil97SVT. Actually I would tell you to call him first anyway, as he is closest to you. Also especially if it is anything that will need a tune.

Good Luck
