Default Cheap EOC Hoses & Adapter

Few Know this but GM offered an (eoc) engine oil cooler in 2005 cars and the hose/adapter package was pretty neat and cheap. The adpater bolts right to the sending unit mounting pad next to the oil filter and the adapter incorporates a 7 psi bypass valve so you never build up excessive back pressure. The one problem with the assembly is that due to the hard steel lines it is hard to install. You must raise the motor and work the assembly in. Since this bolts to the sending unit pad, you have to relocate the switch. You can either weld something onto the steel tube or I have some sandwich adapters.

Anyway the GM part number is 10338247 and I think list is about $150. I have five (5) of these I want to get rid of and if you think this might be for you, call me. I'll sell them for $100 with sandwich block.

BTW, you must have the eoc on the driver (left side) and you will have to buy two GM quick connect fittings. Here is what it looks like.

I recently bought a Vortech S/C. Would you know if this would work for the oil feed and return lines to the S/C? Can the 7 lb bypass be removed?

It is designed to connect up to the radiator only and no, the bypass can't be removed
