Inspector said not all codes reading
I had my car inspected this week - first time with all the emissions testing. They plugged into the computer and said that not all of the codes were reading and asked if the battery was recently unplugged.
I had cleared the check engine code that comes on daily (0410). Was that the cause of his comment? I thought that resetting codes simply cleared them, not caused some to not read.

I think the 410 is a airpump code - which is an emmissions component. So your car will fail emmissions with that.
Do a search on the forum - I think some have fixed this with a simple solution.

I was afraid it might fail, which is why I reset the code.
They passed me, so I'm good for another year. Getting the code fixed is on my list of things to do. Right after I replace by EBCM.
