I hope you used the high temp paint because I painted my fuel rail covers with just regular paint and it started to bubble. That sucked to have to sand it all off and start over
Looks great... did you sand off the FAST raised crap?
FWIW I painted my valve covers, coil pack brackets, and throttle body 6000 miles ago durnig my oil cooler install and valve spring swap. They've help up perfectly and even had one VIR track weekend. I also replaced my Kooks headers w/ race versions (no AIR provisions) and had those ceramic coated black for added heat control.
Wash, degrease, sand, use etching primer, then 1200 degree black ceramic paint, then krylon wrinkle paint.
i wont show that out of respect for tony, but what a beautiful job he did. unreal
Thanks for the info! I wonder if Tony makes people sign a form stating they wont show pics of his work. You paid the $500 plus dollars....the intake is yours, show off that nice port job.
Nice job on the paint. Mine looks just like yours except I shaved the Wilson logo off only and left the FAST to let people know Im bad.
Either you ain't married or we need to know the process of persuading the BW that it's okay to bring the toys in and put them on the sofa.
