I have a daily driven 99 6M vert with 130K miles. Running great! I would be intested in reading input from other owners with high mileage similar models - maintenance, symptoms, tips, etc.

got 90k on mine

runs great.

my biggest problems have been the fuel guage, grounds / battery, and the tranny ... my maintenance has consisted of oil changes @ 8-10k intervals, a coolant system flush, brakes, wax, leather cleaner / conditioner, and TIRES .. lol

oh and about every 30k ive gone up underneth the car and cleaned it off, suspension parts and so forth.

Absent certain knowledge of when the following were done, do them soon:
Coolant - change out, be sure to read and follow tips here, especially distilled water
Brake fluid - purge the system and refill with correct fluid
Clutch master cylinder - replace the fluid. Purge the slave if you get froggy but exhaust system stuff has to come out
For the next three or four fill ups, put a can or two of Techron into the EMPTY tank and fill, or else fill up with Chevron or whatever the other fuel is that already has Techron in it. Alternate - put a can or two of Seafoam into the EMPTY tank and then fill.
Change the differential lube, read the tips on the forum
Change lube in the transmission, read tips on the forum
Change spark plugs
Change ignition wires

Again, recall the caveat on any or all of the above - do them unless you know for SURE when each service item was performed and the service interval isn't up again yet. Or maybe you may want to do them to feel good and 'cuz it's a pleasant few hours with your new toy.
