The NCM auction site will be host to a special auction sponsored by the Corvette Racing Team, to benefit the relief efforts of the September 11th national tragedy. Unique items donated by the drivers, have been posted to the NCM auction site available at: https://www.corvettemuseum.com/nyrelief/donation.shtml. Bidding will begin and will continue via the Museum's website until the auction closes on Thursday October 4th. The three highest internet bidders will be contacted via phone to enable them to continue participating in the live auction.

The live auction will take place from the racetrack at Petite LeMans on Friday, October 6th at 6:00 p.m. Bids will then be accepted at the exhibition center at the track, or by emailing bids directly to petiteauction@aol.com. Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card at the close of the auction.

Special items up for bid are as follows - Winston Cup driving suit donated by Ron Fellows, the Corvette LeMans winning driving suit from Johnny O'Connell, Andy Pilgrim's Corvette Petite LeMans driving suit, and Kelly Collins Petite Lemans driving suit. Other items included are a 4-day driving course from Bob Bondurant (retail price $3795), a 4-day driving course from Derek Daly (retail price $3295) and a 3-day driving course from Jim Russell (retail price $2495). A complete set of Goodyear, Michelin and Yokohama tires are also slated as auction items.

100% of the proceeds from the auction items will be forwarded to the United Way for relief efforts. The Museum is proud to be involved with the Corvette Race team to help raise money for the relief fund.
