I am assuming you know for sure it's not working? You have codes or you are registering a very cold number if you are logging...

Apparently some people have had wire breakage inside the insulation...check for solid continuity with an ohm meter.

bluebody,

Since you were going to have your car tuned, I'm assuming you were able to monitor the IAT and seeing a very cold temperature, roughly -34 degrees F? If that's the case, you've probably got a broken wire in the harness right before it goes into the connector (at least I'm 3 for 3 in the past year). Try the good ole wiggle test.

HTH, and have a good one,
Mike

Had same problem, it was the connector. You can get one at the dealer. It's pretty easy to replace. When I checked the connector the problem was in the connector itself not the wire, so you should not have to replace much of the wiring. The new connector comes with more then you should need.

Get a new connector at your GM parts dealer, should be around $15-20. You'll probably find the break in the wire is close to the connector.

I had the same problem. I replaced the harness part #12102620 and this took care of it, no more problem.
