Climate Control bottons flashing...!

Climate Control bottons flashing...!

Help! My 2001 coupe climate control is acting crazy. All the bottons(lights) and the display continally flash. The display, although bright, is showing "ALL" the functions at one time. I disconnected it from the plug(harness) and reconnected, no change. This unit had been opened and resoldered per the forum guidance...the display does read brightly but unit is sacting as described. Apprreciate your thoughts and advice. I'm fearfull the unit has to be replaced...hope not! Thanks in advance for any ideas.

I was just going to say, sounds like you need a replacement. You can try and dis connect the battery fro a few minutes, But I doubt that will help.

Yes, good suggestion. I was actually thinking about doing that but haven't given it a shot yet. Thanks very much.

Just tried disconnecting the battery, as you guessed, it didn't help. All climate control lights and dsiplay still flashing.
