It's going on the car in the Morning. Running a seperate fuel system just for the NO2. How fast can we go??? I am just hoping to get at least 30 passes out of the tranny.. It's plumbed for a 300 hp shot + I have a 100 dry shot. Don't know if I'll need them both. The motor is built for the Juice btw.
Nice looking installation.. that was the exact kit that I had planned on before I decided to go to a new motor instead. I for one would be VERY interested in seeing the final look (installed)
Tell us about the bottom end of your motor. What compression ratio? Studded mains and heads? How about cam? What type of tires are you planning to put under this monster to handle the ~900rwhp/1000rwtq you are likely to produce?
Regarding the NOS and Fuel Rails... it seems that it would take a bit of time to charge that whole fuel and NOS rail when the noids open.. Given the 65 PSI of the fuel and the 1100 PSI of the NOS, wouldn't the Nitrous hit the motor well before the fuel? Do you have to jet each of the nozzles independently? If so, can you do that with the manifold on or must you pull the manifold to swap jets?
It would seem that a system like yours, with a little bit of lag due to the length of the rails, might soften the hit a little.. which would be a nice thing. Is that consistent with your experience??
Best of luck to ya! I'm currently spraying 175 Wet NX and love every minute of it! Close to 10,000 miles on the motor, hundreds of pounds of juice.. not a single problem yet! 300 will be a monster! Hope you have a large bottle, 10# won't last long!
