Cam package install special...
For the next month, we're going to run this special, for parts, labor, and tune, for a cam under a .600 lift. It includes
all of the parts, including gaskets, fluids, high volume oil pump, etc.
$2665 plus tax, out the door.
PM me for details, if interested... or you can call the shop and talk to myself, or JP.

All depends on the cam, and what else is done to the car. But on M6 cars with nice exhausts, and an underdrive pulley, we've seen as much as 405rwhp, out of our 224/228 cam. That cam is usually anywhere from 390-405, depending on the car. Out of the dozens that we've installed, most of them are right around the 400rwhp mark.
Idle quality would be very good. Enough of a lope to tell that there's a cam in it, but nothing too radical. This has been a favorite cam for those who want a significant power increase, but keep stock-like drivability.

If we could have the car for 3 days, that would be good. There's a heat cycle period that has to be done, due to the springs, and that takes a solid half day, or more, just to do that.

Do you want to know how many hours of labor are being charged, or are you wanting to know how long it will take?

One can do the math:
cam: $395ish
oil pump: $150ish
pushrods: $100ish
springs,locks,etc: $350ish
timing chain: $150ish
gaskets and bolts: $100ish
fluids: $50ish
tune: $500ish
------------------
$1800ish in parts and tune
$865 difference. Most shops charge $100/hour labor. 8.5 hours for installing a cam?
