I have an C5 02 MN6 Z51 with all the bolt-ons.

I am curious if any one here have this?

Thats to much money for that package, I saw the same setup on Eby for $1075.

I have grown to love the C5, I do not feel the need to do a C6 upgrade. I test drove one and it just did not sell with me, But If I did I would definatley get the C6 ZO6.

My neighbor has an 03 SRT10 Viper, I doubt he will ever race that thing since it is always parked and he uses he's truck to do most of his driving.

I saw the Cheater H/C package at Thunder racing for about $2,500 and Texas speed has another package for about $1,500 (LS6 CNC Heads with a mild cam 220).


The reason I asked is because I took the vette to add some more parts and the guy asked me why I do not do an LS6 H/C since I had all the supporting Bolt-on mods

Vararam, Granatelli, BBK, LS6 Intake, Kooks LT, Hiflow cats with X pipe, and B&B Bullet. Plus an LS1 Edit tune.

I told him I was thinking on doing SLP Rockers, SLP Flywheel and SLP Pulley, 160 Stadt and a 3.90 rear then leave it alone.

I do not race with it, nor have I taken it to the track. But ocasionaly I get on it and it does not look too pretty for the other guy/gal.

I guess I can call it a weekend warrior for most of the week I use my other car a modded GTP that screams "LET ME AT THEM!"

Mainly I just wanted to know what you guys thought of it I am very happy with my vette.

Gears are fun, but a cam will make your car

A cam setup alone will do wonders for your car and then you could do heads later or if you have the $$$ doing it all at once would save money.

ECS Custom cam is putting out good numbers and that with Teak Heads and you have a monster.
