Catalytic Converter help, please
I gutted the converters on my 2000 Vette a few years ago, all four of them. My exhaust is just too loud. I have TPIS LT's and the Corsa Indy cat-back system with the cross over pipe. Emissions may soon be coming to my town and I'd like to quiet things down a bit. I don't want to change anything other than add a cat-converter. I only know the name Random. Are there others you guys might recommend? I'm not opposed to the Randoms, just wanted to know what options there are. I will concede that once I reach cruising speeds or 6th gear, things are pretty quiet. But just normal acceleration thru the gears is really loud. I mean really loud. It has sounded great for years but I have tired of the loudness. Prices?
