Its worse for the car I drive now, theres a tax on "fast" cars everywhere.

And REDGAR, that sounds very nice to my ears.

Good luck getting that FAST intake to fit. Completely different port design. AND.. the L76 flows better than a ported fast.

The good thing though, is you can sell your fast and everything that goes with it... buy the L76, and get very close to paying for both bare heads

soo... 7000-8000 total.

Thats YOU putting it in and removing your old motor.
This really isn't bad though. Compare Katech's engines which sell for $23,000, just for the engine. LPE is up there in price too.

Now granted, these guys rock and have unequalled reputation. But $8k for us smaller budget guys is very attractive. $8k is doable - $23k is not.

Cam = $400
LT's = 1500
Cadillac Racing Lifters = $200
Clutch = $1,100 (Ram DD)
Gaskets, plugs, fluid, etc. = 200

It adds up.

Livernois Motorsports sells the heads with Comp 918 springs and Manley Valves for $1,395.00 and I think they sell the manifold for around $300. They also sell CNC ported L92's for $1,795.00.
