SES light on, no codes?
Wife came home in the vette last night asking why the lights were going dim every 5 seconds. I looked and it seems every 5 seconds the cooling fans were trying to kick on. I could hear them try to start spinning for a split second and then they'd stop. So this explains hte lights dimming.
Secondly the SES light came on. I was tired and didn't feel like messing so waited until this morning to pull codes. The only currrent codes i have are HVAC codes. The SES light is still on though. I know this isn't much help...but any thoughts on where ot start troubleshooting? Even my Historical codes i pulled up in the DIC are all HVAC/LDCM/RDCM codes.

when the a/c turns on, it automatically turns on the cooling fans regardless of engine temp to pull air through the condensor. i would pursue your hvac codes further because it sounds like its trying to turn your a/c on. check the compressor also and see if it is trying to engage the clutch.
