Rocker arm / head clearance question
I' finishing installing my AFR 205 heads and G5X3 cam -
Question:
I reused the STOCK rocker arms - I noticed that the top of the rocker arm on #7 cylinder (top of the rocker arm being the part of the rocker arm that is CLOSEST to the intake; ie: the pushrod end of the rocker arm) has a clearance of only .020 between the edge of the rocker arm and the inside edge of the head
All other rocker arms seem to have a little more clearance - I note that the AFR head has been machined by AFR kind of in a crescent shape behind this rocker arm to provide for clearance, but I'm wondering if I should remove the rocker arm and grind a little off of the head to provide slightly more clearance than .020 which is currently there?
Your thoughts are appreciated as always!
