Oil Change question?
When doing an oil change on a 4 or 2 post lift, does it allow all the oil to drain fully from the oil pan? When you're doing an oil change with jacks and jackstands you are to lift the rear a few inches higher than the front so all the oil drains out. I was wondering if draining your oil on a lift gets it all out? Thanks :D :D :cool: :cheers:

You still need to have the rear up higher.

I recently changed the oil on my C5. I used rhino ramps for the front and a jeack for the rear. After setting the car even in height I drained the oil for 1 hour. I then raised the rear and nothing came out for 15 minutes. I then lowered the rear and still nothing came out for 15 minutes. So I came to the conclusion that keep ing it level was just right.
