Default Power Steering Leak!

Looks like the rear of the pump! It is very hard to see for sure, but it looks like the seal in the rear of the pump is leaking. I have had the fluid boil over, so I guess that caused it. Hot TX summers and Autocross events are hard on the steering.

Has anybody tried to replace the pump or repair? How bad a job is it? It looks like it is going to be fun....

Parts are unavailable so repair is unlikely..And GM sells you a rebuilt pump with a core charge.. List around $300...
Best I could do was about $240 shipped from Fred Beans.

You will need a pulley puller. Destroyed my pulley trying to get it off..
If you get the pulley off its easy from there, but if you cant get the pulley off...
I found the easiest way then is to remove the whole Alt./pump bracket because the pump bolts are near impossible to reach with the pulley on..
