Seat won't go back

Seat won't go back
I am having trouble getting the seat on the drivers side to retract when I get out of my 2006.Anybody help?The seat goes forward,but won't go back when I shut the engine off.I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.

Splain some more. Do you mean the button won't slide the seat back or the seat doesn't retract automatically? If it's the second one, are you removing the key? Just shutting the engine off won't make it retract. On the DIC, do you have the easy entry/exit set to "on"? Need more info.
