Tuan
If you bought a bare bones cheap nitrous system, and do not care how the N20 install looks maybe $300.
If you want a first class clean install with all the safeties and add on's.
Bottle Heater,Bottle opener,Bottle blow off tube,RPM window switch,Electronic activation switch ect You are looking at 10 plus hours labor from an experienced installer. You get what you pay for in life :D

Jetski,My system is not cheap, nor bare bones, and after seeing you pics it looks MUCH better than yours... I also had an MSD window switch and purge installed...living in sunny Miami, Fl i dont need a bottle heater (if someone made a bottle cooler;maybe) and i dont WANT a bottle opener as its just one more thing that could fail...keep it simple I say, anyway mine is armed at all times. oh and BTW if I ever run into you on any track or streetcorner, I will be happy to show you my rear blackouts :smash: :smash: :smash: oh, and also do you always feel the need to justify why you got ripped off spending $1200 for a nitrous install :nopity TNT RULES :smash:

For your information I paid $Zero to install My NX Express system :D Installed NX Express system myself  Have also installed full NX Express kit on 2001 Z06.
This site is used for people to gain information on their installs. When a post is made about how long it takes to install full Nitrous kit. Poster expects this information, not misleading information like you post.
Number one you do not have a full nitrous kit installed. You also have no knowlege or experience of what time it takes to install full nitrous kit. You have never installed a Nitrous kit in a C5.
Many other corvetteforum members who have installed full N20 systems, know the time it takes for a clean install.
You have been asked to post shop that will professionally install full nitrous system for $300 on other threads.
Your response has been the same as when somebody asks you why TNT rules. Big NO REPLY from you.

Forum member e-mailed me copy of an e-mail you sent him reguarding N20 install shops that will charge $300 for full N20 system. Forum member said shops you e-mailed him, quoted him way more than $300 for full N20 install at Dynamic Turbo and South Fl performance.
Sounds like you are posting misleading information

South Florida member who e-mailed me was quoted $800 for full N20 install from shop you e-mailed him  Forum members do not need to be mislead that $300 will be the cost for full Nitrous install.
By the way your class shows in your posts:D

Hey Mike! I found you! Very misleading handle, though  ...

Guys, Mike and I detailed our vettes at my place tonight. He's OK, I guess.

We're off to Eureka Springs, AK Saturday for a vette rally. 2000 or so there, should be loads of fun. Also quite a few of non-vette friends coming on down for what will be most likely the last blowout of the "summer".

Got to install my Valentine 1 tomorrow. Have incredibly complicated instructions involving pulling off trim I didn't know moved. Wish me luck.

Like MikeyD posted in another thread, there are a lot of variable that make an install cost what it does. He estimates 6-7 hours.

I installed my basic dry kit and it took about 5 hours because of how I hid it and because I refused to drill a single hole.

The average labor charge is $40 from what I know, so, you can see what we would have paid.

BTW, half the fun of owning the kit is installing it imo. :D

well, i talked to MTI today, and you guys estimate on what you were looking for (all goodies) was about 8-10 hrs, not 10-12, They quoted a price a lot better than 1000, ill just tell you that, in case they were going to give me a deal since i go there prolly 3 times a week. Ill just say their rate is $57 per hour. Just call chris and see what he says. 281-870-8787. I think 1000 or more is a complete rip off to install the nitrous system...if what you guys say..10-12 hours, that would be almost $100 bucks an hour.....sorry guys, to rich for my blood.

Eric, your are right about one thing, i have little to no mechanical ability,
 loving Vettes and having a heavy right foot is as far as I go.
I never clamed to have any class either:cuss ,three things I do know is that
1. I paid $300 for a FULL n20 install
2. TNT rules i.e.: make more power than the cheesy nx kits, now do you know what I mean by TNT rules ?
3. your a fu*king idiot, who spends too much time trying to discredit something he doesnt have the facts on.

I spoke with MTI and another shop here in Houston, they both quoted me the same amount of time, 8-10 hours. This will include all the goodies.

Thanks for all the info....AND please no more :boxing
