magnetic oil drain plug

went to autozone and asked for a magnetic oil drain plug for a 01 vette two seconds later she came out with a shinney new one item number 366557 365454 $1.99 put it in today my first mod then mod two cags elim. also cleaned out my radiator with a brush then my compressor took out almost a coffee can of sand. she runs 195 all day now

Those plugs can pick up a lot of stuff, its like a little filter.

absoluty ive put them in everything ive owned also put them in differentials trans and when i rebuild marine engines i glue mags in the oil pan

Every oil change there is gunk stuck to it. I was suprised the first time, but they work.

Yea I take a rag and use it to wash and pull the gunk off in the sink when I change fluids in my VR4, theres always a lot of dusty oily stuff on it thats metal. Its just somthing small but every bit it catches dosent have to go clog up the filter or go through any moving parts again.
