IMHO, gaskets are cheap. While you probably don't absolutely need new gaskets, and while the header install isn't the WORST thing to do, it's not the easiest either, and you will end up with a few busted knuckles. Therefore, save yourself having to do it 30,000 miles from now, and install NEW gaskets. Just my .02

Three busted knuckles to be accurate. I just finished a header install - get new gaskets!
2000 camaro LS1 gaskets. They will be round port to match the headers, unlike the stock C5 ones that are more oval. I bought a pair of mechanix type gloves and never took them off. No busted knuckles or dirty hands. But they were sore later.
