Kool Sox / Taylor Fire Sleeve Install Help
I got a set of Tayler Fire Sleeves to go over my plug wires so my plug wires don't get burned by my headers.
One end of the Fire Sleeve is obviously larger (bigger opening) than the other end, and I assume the BIGGER end goes togard the spark plug, correct?
Also, the smaller end seems to have a steel ring (almost like a steel oring) sewn into the material, which I'm guessing goes around the spark plug wire, and helps hold the fire sleeve in position from slipping down?
Big question is: what is the easiest way to get the spark plug end of the spark plug wire thru the small end of the Taylor Fire Sleeve? I didn't try for very long, but I wasn't successful when I tried for about 5 minutes on 1 wire, so I'm wondering what the secret is?
Anyone?

Look's nice! and again, Big end on top - glad I asked, cause I'd have done it wrong. So, I suspect the small end stays right above the spark plug boot (ie: that's how far down on the wire you pull the firesleeve?)
My plug wires are orange, so I got the orange fire sleeves - I think it's gonna look GOOD.
Duh, I think I get it now. (hey, my blood's rather thick right now, and brain function is slow - it was ONLY -30 F here this morning!)
