Another Heads/Cam Question
Just bought an 02 coupe. Dealer's tech switched mods from my 98 to the 02. This tech is very good and I am confident with him. Dealer says if I want they will install Z06 heads and cam. I can supply the complete heads/cam or they will purchase for me at cost. If they do the install they will warrant for the same extended warrantee period (5yr/60K) that I purchased. If I do this what other parts will I need other than complete heads & cam? The parts/installation price they quoted me is half of what the tuners are charging. I know I will get less hp than the tuners but with a warrantee seems pretty good.

I would have your LS6 intake ported and would suggest getting an ASP underdrive pulley.
I ahve all of these mods on my 1999 coupe and have 418RWHP. I believe however a significant amount of the HP came from the great tuning job that Julio did at CARTEK.
Without proper tuning I think you may run into trouble with your setup.
