Experiencing loads of wheel hop from the IRS. I haven't seen a whole lot of people talking about bracing it or doing anything special like I do with Cobras and GTO's.

I have the same problem and have been doing extensive research. These are some of the things I'm doing to tackle the problem:I'm installing a line lock to get my drag radials a better burn out.I will be going with 17" drag radials on a spare set of Z06 front rims, doing away with the 18" drag radials. The last thing I am installing is a set of QA1 adjustable shocks for the rear.I believe these changes will eliminate my wheel hop problem.
As safety measures for the survivability of the rear end I will be installing hardened output shafts in the rear axle and the DTE(Dynotech Engineering) rear end strut kit.
