Default help on install

i am trying to install the front zo6 screens i was wondering do soem people remove the black plastic housing to allow air flow or keep them in so it is blocked off. if i take them out will water come into the intake or should i be fine sine the z06 screens will block most road debree. so take the black plastic fog light thing out and replace with screens or just put in screens. is their a big diffrence in air flow as well. thanks

I drilled 1/2" holes in a nice patern to allow air to pass through and retain the light housing, then mounted the screens.
