sounds easy enough. but how much$? and how much increase can i expect from a 2000 6spd with vararam and straight pipes (basically stock) ?
also have you figured out a way to eliminate the tire pressure sensors?

P.S. i have longtube headers and hi-flo cats that have yet to be installed.should i wait?

The dynos have shown that most guys get on average 25 peak hp....

BUT, the gains in torque "below the curve" are much more substantial and the throttle response will blow you away....

MY GUARANTEE:If you're not completely BLOWN AWAY by my tune.....just send the pcm back and I'll restore your original tune and refund your money plus the shipping....It works that well.....

Give me a call if you have any questions.....

I have a 2000 A4 Coupe, with the 2.73 rear gears and no pre-cats/pup- cats. I have GHL Bullet Cat Back exhaust system, '02 Z06 air box lid, with holes drilled in it, the fog light fresh air kit, and an LS6 intake manifold installed.

1) What can I expect for performance increase?

2) What is the estimated impact on fuel mileage? (I currently get +28 mpg @ 70 mph on highway.)

3) How much for shipping from 50322 zip code?

Thanks!

Default no 93 octane...

I am really wanting to do this tune but no where in NW Arkansas is there 93 octane available. 91 is everywhere... can this be taken into account?

Thanks,

Sully

Ok, most guys get 25 peak hp improvment however, with the mods you have i would say closer to 30.....Now, bear in mind..that's "peak"....Where you will notice the HUGE improvment will be in torque, HP, and throttle response "under the curve" from idle to about 4500 rpm... The gains I can make you under the curve are tremendous and the throttle response will blow you away....

NEXT, you have an A4 trans....LUCKY DOG YOU ARE.... The way that trans is tuned now....sucks. simply.....sucks. A4 cars usually gain double what a stick car gains cause the stock trans program literally "wastes" your power.....The way I tune the trans...You will get the most the engine has to offer....Plus a really strong and reliable motor...

Hard as it is to believe....most people report a fuel savings of about 2.5 miles to the gallon.. The explanation is kinda long, so call me if you need to know more...

As far as the shipping, I always overnight with insurance and the cost is uaually like $28 bucks.

Call me,
Chuck CoW

Hey Sully....NO PROBLEM....91 is cool.... I've come to find that MOST of the country only has 91 octane and it has never caused me any tunng trouble....I always take the octane into account....

Nope ...not the way I do it.... you will never have a problem.....After the tune...The car will actually run CLEANER....That's one of the good things...I run the motor more efficiently with the existing fuel....

If we make better use of the fuel and burn it better...we get more power and even better emissions.....

Hi Chuck,

I was wondering after one of your tunes, lets say the car had to have some work done at the dealer, and they insisted it had to be re-flashed in order to repair what ever it was that was wrong, would cost another $350 to have you re-flash it back? I like seeing all the positive replies to your tunes, really gets me thinking about going that route. Have 2000 A4 with Vararam and Corsa's, so far my best 1/4 mile is 12.89 @ 108 on stock tires, tell me we can do better Thanks for your time

Oh yeah....We can ABSOLUTELY do better......

MY TUNING POLICY: Once I tune your car....ALL FUTURE UPDATES ARE FREE.....

The only time they are not free is if you cange HEADS/CAM/DISPLACMENT/or FORCED INDUCTION..... All other mods are free. You just pay the shiping....When AUTOCAL is released....you won't even need to pay shipping.

ALSO, there will be no need for the dealer to re-flash becuase I always start with the newest possible GM operating system and tune for your car by VIN number.

Call me if you have any other concerns...

Hi Chuck

Would you reset the fans so that they would come on sooner?

Chuck, you have some great customer service. Thanks for the accurate answers and prompt replies to everyone!

I'm saving this thread for later when I have funds to do a tune. The free updates for minor changes was the selling point for me as I will be likely changing to vararam and LS6 intake down the road.

What is AUTOCAL?

And does this mean you can do mail order tunes without shipping PCM?

Hey Jim......

ABSOLUTELY.....That's a big part of why my tunes work so well....TEMPERATURE is HUGE in the tuning world....

Yes, we take a nice chunk off that "too HOT" condition that GM sold us....

You will love it...
