Default MAFT Users What are your current settings?

Just curious to see the variance in what is optimal across the board.
Please list the mods you currently have with it.

Before Headers I was +5% BASE +6% WOT It was perfect. Now I am in the process of tapping to get the right settings for these TPIS I just installed.

+10 +4

MAn I am running rich at +10 +2 and I have TPIS Headers, Vortec Intake, BPP MAF Ends, Corsa Indys

I wonder if the Power Loader is already dialing in some richness?

-15 -10 = 25% lean

SVO 30 injectors, LS6 manifold, cold air box, no screen stock MAF, custom pistons, custom heads and cam.
11.3:1 compression with long tubed headers.
Billeted and Molly 4340 parts that are cooled via a heat exchanger, race radiator and 2 quart AccSump to protect oilpan issues.

Chuckster, can you report back what you find is the optimal setting with the headers? ;) Would be interesting to see how much change is caused by the headers. Thanks. By the way, mine is at +5% Base/+4% WOT

I look at the MAFT together with the AutoTap software as a very good temporary tuning solution. When you have everything working perfectly take your MAFT settings and your computer to one of the many tuners and have it reprogrammed to reflect the MAFT settings. Now you can run without the MAFT having one less part that can fail. My $0.02

I wrote a user guide to the MAFT in the early days of the MAFT, you can find it at http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=72850

I also found problems with 'sudden power loss' or strange dyno results with dips at certain rpms. I wrote a instruction about how to mod the MAFT to avoid these problems. I can't find it in the archives but kewlbrz has put together this info on his website at http://www.vetteguru.com/mods/maf/

The initial post about the above problem. I hope this info can help someone http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=73417
