L92 heads will only work on a 4 inch or better bore...

Not going to happen. The L92 heads have a 2.15 intake valve and on anything smaller than a 4.00 bore they will hit the walls of the bore.

Article recently in GM High Performance Tech stated for the above mentioned reasons that they were not for the LS1 - but for the LS2 it meant great power for low bucks.

Default this is getting confusing

i spoke with a guy over the phone at lg motorsports that said that they had already put l92s on an ls1, but he wasnt sure how much they had to mill the head to get them on. ive been tring to talk to someone at lg to find this out but so far ive got no reply from them.

Either they're misinformed or LG is doing some major R&D...........and I'm hoping it's the latter!

Maybe an LS1 with Darton sleeves? That'll increase the bore size.
