rattling question ?

rattling question ?
My car has recently started making a sound as if though the muffler is rattling. It sounds like a penny in my wheel rattling around and only sounds while I am moving. i had the muffler checked and everything is on well. Could this be the catalytic onverter or is it anything else you can think off. The car runs great and has no other issues , but has 120K. THX beardown3

When I worked for f%#d we would have people complain about the same thing, most of the time it was part of the cat. coming apart. Sometimes the piece would blow out of the tailpipe on the highway, so I would'nt worry about it, just keep your ears open and it might go away by itself. Do you have tips? Check the tips, mine sounded like a pocket full of coins. I screwed them down with self tapping sheet metal screws.
