C5 head light in open position....

Default C5 head light in open position....
Can you manually close a head light that is in the open position? My passenger side head light will not close. I have a stripped motor.

Yes, there`s a **** to turn. The owner`s manual tells how to do it.

if it is the **** at the top of the assembly - this does not work. the **** turn freely but no movement of the head light assembly.

Its right at the top inside corner of the headlight cover, Has a rubber cover that you pull off & **** is under that. If it doesn`t work there must be something broken . Good luck!

That **** should be attached to the gear, so you might need to replace that. I know there is a post in the general sticky about it.
