Default 2001 vette throttle problem

HELP!!!, i have a 2001 and the throttle is not closing all the way it is staying open 16% and im not going to start the car until i figure this out, it started with me cleaning the maf and throttle body because the car is not running right, the iac is going into the red from the car just ideling for a few minutes, and it is running lean all of the sudden, im not throwing any codes and the car is stock except for a dual air filter setup and a slp exhaust, i am stumped as to y this has happened all of the sudden and the car is also experianceing the commom problem of oil usage and when i took off the throttle body today there was a decent amount of oil residue in the intake.

did you check it before you cleaned it? that sounds about in the area of where is should be, the c5 does not have an iac if just uses the tb to control idle

16% you say... What is the factory spec of % for "idle" ? Remember some systems look at them in "gates" not absolute values.

I know for MOST it's
1-20% = idle
20-80=off idle/midrange
80-100= WOT.

I'm willing to bet - since you say it's lean, either a MAF issue or vacuum leak.

What method did you use to clean the maf?

I would make sure here are no air leak after the maf as well.
