$5 O2 Simulator DIY ==56k no way==

I was prowling on a BMW Forum and found this. Have no idea if it works but it looked interesting.

With all the drilling and tapping involved, the Sims would be 1000 times easier, IMHO.

I understand the drilling and tapping if you get log tubes w/o the bungs but if you're gutting the cats (which no one would ever do

) because you need to appear stock. Who knows.

I just thought it was interesting the idea. I haven't tried it nor an I ready anytime in the near future.

This is a really old trick. It was widely used on turbo cars not to burn the O2 sensor and at the same time, because the exhaust sample is "cleaner" due to the sensor beging away from the stream, it will give similar readings as if it had a cat.

worked on my Evo, my rears are tuned out so I dont have to worry about any codes.

Should work for our cars as well as this is widely used across import scene.
