the smaller header pipe will give you more torque, may be a toss up on the hp side. the previous owner of my 03 Z installed 1 7/8 kooks headers, cats, exhaust, corsa's and a tune. 385rwhp and 374 torque. torque was above 350 from 3500-6000 rpm's

I have posted on another thread about this. I have the 1 7/8 on my 02 Z and I don't see where I lost much if anything at all with them. Granted I don't have a baseline comparison or a dyno with the 1 3/4 on my car but it still did a little over 400rwtq with just a cam. I did however buy them because I was planning on using nitrous and I got a great deal on the set.
