F45 Simulators
I am replacing my F45 shocks with 06 Z06 shocks and have ordered the F45 simulators. There are 8 in the kit. 4 go on the ends of the plugs that usually connect to the shock actuator wires. Where do the other 4 go? On the ride height sensors? And if so, what do the right height sensors do to the F45 shocks as the height changes?
thanks mtr

Why not just turn off the F45 with the Tech II?
Cleaner, and save yourself the money.

That is not an option with the early C5's, like my '98! Not sure which year they changed the ECM to be able to use the TEC II.

His is a 2000 (I checked), mine is a 2000.
It worked on mine, so, I assume it would work on his.
But, then, you never know.

Cool! Maybe it's just the 97's & 98's that need the sims! My F45's are still working great, but I know I'll be facing a change some day and have been trying to do my homework before then. I like the adjustable feature, but could never afford new F45 shocks.......not without winning the lottery first!
I'm always looking for a definitive answer on this procedure for a '98 C5. I'll keep lurking!!

From the digging around I've done, on 99+ cars the F45 is deletable in the BCM by using a Tech II. It's apparently hit or miss in the earlier ones.
