I think there is no "best" cat-back. I voted for the PRT's because that's the best set up to my ears now, since I have a cam/heads/headers....before I added my cam...I had the SLP Loudmouths and they were the best. I think it depends on your set up. Everyone has different ears

Agreed, but the only way to decide upon one is information! And I appreciate yours!

I'v got a Z and retain the stock Ti system.

I'd love to slap on a BB exhaust but just dont want to **** off the neighbors. Nice and quiet here.

Spent my $$$ on Kooks headers and X pipe with Hi Flo Cats and retained my ZO6 Ti. Love the sound of the Borla Stingers but my wife and the neighbors will not have same appreciation. I vote: ZO6 Ti
My car is not a ZO6.

If I had read this poll prior to buying my Catback I probably would have changed my mind and went with the Z06 Ti instead of the Corsa’s. I wanted to future proof my car against the Headers, high flows and an X pipe that I’ll be putting on this year. The Z06 Ti wasn’t discussed much or at least I didn’t find it discussed much while researching…

SO hopefully this will indeed help prospective buyers out there researching for a system.

Thanx everyone for your votes and inputs so far, keep em coming in!!!!!!!!!!!!

Noise - any bullet style or straight through cat-back
Weight savings - Z06 Ti or a straight through design

I chose to keep my Ti cause it's a great flowing design, very light, doesn't twist out of alignment when I hit the gas, and keeps my car from be obnoxiously loud with Dynatech LT headers, x-pipe, and cats...
I'd also like to point out if you go with "Any bullet style or straight through cat-back" system, the weight savings will also be included. The B&B Bullets are VERY light, simply because theres nothing to them, but pipe... hehe

Again the "Straight through" cat back systems will also give the best flow.

But like he said Aftermarket exhaust systems can be a PITA to get perfectly aligned...

And the "Obnoxiously loud" portion is all relative. I have Dynatech LT headers, x-pipe, hi-flow cats and B&B Bullet exhaust. Do I consider it obnoxious? Nope, sounds about right IMO, a cam may do just the trick to get it perfect.

You forgot to add the STS Twin Turbo system as a CatBack choice. Considering it replaces your cat-back exhaust system, i'd say it counts. And it DEFINATELY makes the most power of any other Cat Back system out there... ntm has a very unique sound to it!

I liked my GHL Bullets until I did a head/cam swap and then I picked up a drone. I sold them and put a set a Z06 Ti's on and no more drone!!!

I had SLP Loudmouths... They were cool when I was stock. With H/C/Long Tubes I had to go a different route. I love the way the Ti's maintain a good semi-quiet idle & low rpm and scream when you get it up there.

Oddly enough, the Ti's and the SLP Loudmouths (straight pipes) were almost identical in weight.

Installed Corsa Indy's the other day (sorry Chip), and I found them to be a very sweet system.

6th gear is even quieter @ 70MPH with the Indy's than the Z06 Ti's were that I just took off...serious.

Oh yeah and they SCREAM when you put your foot in it. They're everything I was looking for.

I currently have MagnaFLow's but they replaced Borla Stinger's which had to much drone for me at 70-80 mph in sixth. I loved the Borla's around town though. The MF's are to quiet around town but IMO the best you can do without to much drone while cruising. I guess you can say they are a give and take system but they are really nice looking with the highly polished muffler's and pipes as well as the Tips.
