What exactly does "Z51" mean?

I have a 99 vert w/ the stock sway bars. Once I added the Elite Engineering tunnel plate, it made the car a whole lot stiffer on the turns. I like it so much, I don't think I'll be upgrading the sway bars. I've kept it this way for about 1.5 years so far and the mountain twisties are well negotiated.

I do think the T1s are overkill for a car that doesn't see a lot of track time, but that's because of the crazy stiff ride, not because the car would push in normal driving.

I have a good friend with 2 C5's with T1's. He drives on the street all the time and uses both cars for track.
That's how I got his Z06 bars on my coupe.
