When I had the car lowered the front spring bushings were cut.
My question is will I still be able to rasie the front without any issues?
Of course without the bushings I can't rasie the car as high since the bolts are technically shorter without the bushings on the bottom, which is fine because im not trying to raise it back to factory height.
Just wondering if i need any bushings under the spring? Its off the car as of right now, if that helps any.
If you were running the car without bushings before, it should be no different if it is raised. If you are concerned I believe you can buy replacement screws with bushings attached.
The prior owner of my car lowered it by cutting its bushings. I had a rear bolt break and that's when I learned of it. I just got around to pulling the front spring loose and discovered that both front bolts had broken, too, but had stayed in place since they were under compression so I didn't notice they were broken....however, they managed to ruin the threads in the front spring, and therefore ruin my weekend.
Bottom line is I'd pick up some new front bolts. The dealer won't sell them separate from the spring, but you can get some aftermarket replacements from a guy named Gary Hoffmann who hangs out in the autocross section a lot.
