Vibration at 80+
Having a vibration problem at 80+. I have no vibration what so ever up to that point. I have done all the normal checks to solve this problem, any ideas? 2004 C5 stock on new runflats.

Still could be a balance issue - especially if they did not do a good high speed balance on the wheels/tires.

I have out of round tires (Avon's) that were road force balanced and the problem was detected there, but they "balanced out" fine on a normal low speed balancer. The tires can't be brought back using road force balancing on mine but he was able to balance them well enough that they don't vibrate like hell anymore at 70+.
Not saying that is your problem, it can be driveline or bearings too...but if you've ruled that all out, find a place that does road force balancing.

Is it truly 80mph related, or a specific rpm? Only reason ask is my Z was vibrating horribly at 4k rpm, no matter what gear. Turned out to be a throwout bearing.
