Default Looking for TSB...can someone post?

Can someone post TSB # 030730042 NHTSA ID # 10004324?

Deals with the leak from the transmission.

I found plenty of sights that list TSBs but none that have the whole discription.

tks

Hmmm, when I go to the NHTSA site, and enter the code you provided, there is a list of the TSBs. But you are correct in that there is no substantive data or information. Here is the site for others, and the NHTSA number (enter just the numbers) is 10004324

The date of the bulletin is Sept. 1, 2003. That is probably why the '04 model is not listed.

You are right...that's the problem. Just thought someone would have paid to print the TSB or have access to dealer information.
I suppose a dealer would give me the information but was hoping someone on CF would have it.
tks

Thanks for the post. That's what I was looking for.
Your right...it is in the transmission it's going to be a job but it can be a DIY given patients and some basic hand tools and jacks. All depends on how much a person wants to save on labor cost which would run about one grand on this project. Saving a grand is important to me. I know I'm a cheap bastard...or so my wife says.
Thanks for the help.

It was just under $600 total at my GM dealer. If you're getting quoted a grand.. go to another dealer.

Yes, it can be done in your garage... but big PITA. The engine has to angle up, torque tube down, and you only get a couple inches before the engine hits the firewall.
Ugly job at best.
