Default New Converter Drive Plate

I will be upgrading my TC on the car, and noticed on the Yank website that they have an upgraded converter drive plate.
Have any of you used this, or think it would be a good idea to install it in exchange of the factory drive plate?
I have not heard of any issues in regards to the factory drive plate regarding excessive flex.
Your input would be appreciated.
Thanks!

the stock plate only uses 3 bolts, a lot of the higher HP TC's use 6 bolts, in that application the new plate in the above pic is a must

I didn't swap out the flex plate when I did my T/C and rear carrier swap, but I think if I were to do it over now I would change the flex plate. Look at the following link: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1577856

specifically, look at EG's post #472 in the above link - seems reason enough to swap out the flex plate - I suspect that the stock flex plate has worked well for scores of people running higher than stock horsepower, but since I started modding, I've gone w/ the idea that if you are in an area, and you can improve what GM did (not saying GM did it wrong, but EVERYTHING can be improved upon), you might as well improve it and be done w/ it, rather than having something fail and having to do the work all over again.

I changed mine out about 18 months ago for good measure. No issues with the Yank product.
