Honker + screenless MAF?

Default Honker + screenless MAF?
I'm going to upgrade to a Honker and 85mm MAF on my '99. I'd like to use the screenless ('02-'04 LS6) MAF but I don't want to be setting any codes. I know some '02-'04 Z06 guys had problems with the Stinger setting lean codes. What about the Honker?

Anybody have problems using a Honker with a screenless MAF?

I've got the stock LS1 MAF descreened with the Honker, and have had no problems...

I have a Blackwing, with a ported throttle body and a MAF ported enough to stick your leg in. I had no codes for the month before I got HP Tuners.
