Default Dynatech Supermax Headers

I am thinking of buying a Dynatech long tube header kit with hiflow cats and x pipe. Does anybody know if these are good quality headers that will install without modification? I can get the kit for around $1495.
Thanks,
Bob

I installed Dynatechs with no modifications. They come with everything you need. I would consider them high quality. I also had them coated by Jet-Hot to keep the under hood temps down.

It's a protective coating that is sprayed on the inside and outside of the header. It was deveolped for the aerospace industry and used on jet engines for military applications.
I can't remember the exact price, but I think it was around $280. It will make the headers last longer also. Try a google search, their web site will give more info than I can remember.

Thanks! I wonder if it's just cheaper to get ceramic coated headers? I think LG's are ceramic.

I love mine! did the install myself, everything you need comes w/ them and i've never heard anything bad about 'em. Air Tubes don't break off or anything crappy like that.

Awesome system - I put a set of B&B Bullets behind mine and the sound is just amazing!!

How long did the install take? Did you have access to a lift or just use jack stands? Did you go for the jet hot coating too? Where did you buy yours?
With all of these great recommendations, it looks like I can't go wrong.

Thanks!!

I ran Dynatech LT's a few years ago. It's definitely a complete kit and was worth the expense.

Same here with ceramic coating. I don't think LG's are ceramic coated unless you have them do it for extra$$.

You can find the Dynatechs for cheaper than $1500. I paid $1150 shipped on a special a while back. I can't recall where I got them, but TByrne usually is a competitive vendor.

I just had Dynatech supermaxx headers, X pipe and corsa exhaust installed. I paid the 1495.00 plus the corsa, about 1200.00 and installation, about 1,100.00. Installation included removing the stock set up and a kiss. I don't know of a system with greater quality. The shop has installed other systems before, and said these were excellent.

Air tubes didn't break off - but that damn slave cylinder line...

I have the Dynatech header/cat/x-pipe package and opted to go with the jet-hot coating, love the fit/finish/sound/performance and couldn't be happier!

SOLD! I am looking for the best price today. I'll check TBryne and New Era to start. I don't live too far from New Era. They are in Rochester, NY and I am in Buffalo.
Thankss!

Yeah - i broke that myself cause i was dumb. I shoulda just disconnected it - but I tried to shove it outa the way...

I got mine from TByrne on a Group Purchase.

Install took like 5-6 hours, simple stuff, we kinda poked along slowly though...

Driver Side header can be a PITA to get in though... lol but for the most part easy install.
