After installing the FAST manifold LS2 TB combo on my H/C Z, and a tune, the car was stumbling, and idle hunting real badly. The worst was huge flat spots while part-throttle cruising. I sent the TB to Tony Mamo to port, after he suggested this as a cure. Although I was skeptical of any dramatic improvements, I gotta say the difference is night and day. The car behaves like it did stock. Very smooth at all throttle positions, and much more responsive. It's now a 500+ hp pussycat. Thanks to Tony Mamo for the excellent work.
Interesting approach. I had my idle issues dealt with when I dyno tuned the car after installing a heads / cam package and the FAST90 and LS2 throttle body. No idle issues and smooth performance.

All of the drivability problems were present both before, and after a dyno tune. The local guy used HP Tuners, but was fairly new to the game, so no doubt, there's room for improvement. This was after the H/C install, but before the FAST90. It exhibited the same problems with both LS6, and FAST manifold combos, it was just worse with the FAST. I'm thinking about trying a tuner about 3 hours away that's supposed to be very good, when the weather gets a little better.
