I'll be surprised if you don't get lots of responses on this thread and each with there own favorite header. There are quite a few good header manufacturers for the Corvette.

You can't really go wrong with either Kooks, LG, or AR.

The LGs are nice, but expensive in comparison to the other manufacturers. Kooks are well proven. Lots of people go the Kooks route.

Either way you won't be disappointed with these 3 companies.

It is true that there are many opinions on the matter and that those listed above are all good products.

Personally, I have American Racing Headers on my car and I absolutely love them and highly recommend them!

As mentioned above all the choices are good but the American Racing Headers have been getting raves from
people involved in and around Racing and Engine building. I have read many publications and these headers seem to be many peoples new choice

There should be sticky's on a few subjects: preferred headers would be one sticky; the correct gears to put in an A4 would be another sticky

Anyway . . . I believe there was a poll on this subject couple months ago - My choice is Dynatech Supermaxx LT's - quality, easy install and good fit!

I went with the ceramic coated lng. tub. "bassanis" and the Hy-flow cats with the X-pipe with the B&B big twin bullets. Reeeeal happy,.... doing the head cam thing right now as it was always the plan!

I went with Stainless Works long tubes, H-pipe and hi-flo cats....all stainless steel system on my '04 coupe....with the Z06 Ti catback.

They seem to be just as good as anybody elses out there and a fair piece of change cheaper than some.

I went with LGs and love them. Big change to and this has been by far the best mod (delta in ET) so far. Went 12.33 @ 114 to 11.89 @ 118, same tires, same short time, same track very similar temps... Good luck man!!!

Check Stainless Works - their customer service is great and their prices are reasonable.

these are all great headers, but don't overlook Texas Speed and Performance, they are having a great sale on theirs, and their regular price is still very good.

From what ive read on the board the quality and performance is well worth the money as well.

Although I'm an f-body owner, I just installed a set of AR's headers on my car. I had access to a lift but would have been easier on the ground to be honest. I actually needed a friend to help put them in because they slide in so easy there is nothing really to hold them until you get a bolt started. Just a side note, I needed to change my plugs at the same time. I was able to put all of them in from the bottom except the 2 fronts on the drivers side and then put the headers in. Y-pipe was cake to get in place and adjust. All in all I have no complaints about them, now I have to get it on a dyno and get it tuned(will post some numbers asap).
